Carmen Elisa LeBlanc, MD

Dr. Leblanc joined Atlanta Diabetes Associates in March 2008. She was born in Honduras (is fluent in Spanish) and moved to New Orleans when she was 5 years old. She received her fellowship in endocrinology from Ochsner Hospital in New Orleans, La 2008.
She practices general endocrinology but also focuses on thyroid disorders, osteoporosis and type 2 diabetes. She performs thyroid ultrasounds and biopsies in office and has participated in clinical research for the advancement of diagnosis/prognosis of thyroid biopsies.
She is interested in finding new approaches to motivate patients in developing healthy habits that will promote optimal health and keep them free of complications.
