Our Providers

Adriana Ruiz, PA-C, received her Bachelors of Kinesiology at the University of Illinois at Chicago and her Masters degree in Physician Assistant Studies from Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. She has several years of experience in family medicine and urgent care setting before specializing in endocrinology in 2015. Adriana joined Atlanta Diabetes Associates after relocating from Las Vegas, Nevada in 2023, where she practiced at a large endocrine clinic. She has been actively involved with JDRF and the diabetes community.

Adriana has served as a sub-investigator of several endocrine clinical trials. She is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants, the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants, and the American Society of Endocrine Physician Assistants.

In her spare time, Adriana loves to stay active, whether it is by running, cycling, hiking or taking a yoga or pilates class. Adriana also loves to cook and bake and find all the local foodie spots.

Originally from Puerto Rico, Adriana is bilingual in Spanish AND English, and treats all endocrine disorders. Adriana believes that medicine is a team effort and wants to empower her patients to take control of their condition by educating and giving patients all the tools needed to succeed.
