Jennifer Backus is a dedicated nurse practitioner with a lifelong passion for diabetes management and advocacy. Diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes at just six years old, she has firsthand experience navigating the challenges of this condition medically and financially. Her journey inspired her to pursue a career in healthcare, leading her to graduate from Georgia College & State University as a nurse practitioner.

Jennifer is committed to empowering individuals with diabetes through education, personalized care, and community support. She believes that with the right knowledge and resources, people with diabetes can live full, healthy lives. Whether through one-on-one patient care, speaking engagements, or community initiatives, Jennifer strives to make a meaningful impact on the lives of those managing diabetes.
